She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on April 26, 2002; brothers and sisters, Olivia Wolters, Florence Hall, Ed Aschenbrenner, Irene Goebel and Elmer Aschenbrenner. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Popple Creek. On April 28, 1962, Henry Wentzlaff became her husband and love of her life. They were blessed with three wonderful sons; Todd and his wife Lori of Texas, Tim of New York and Brian of California.
Though she knew it would be hard for Wayne and her kids when she was gone, Sunnie was looking forward to spending her eternal life in heaven. Martha visited the St. Cloud and St. Cloud State University libraries often, taking the Metro bus for transportation as she loved and appreciated her independence. She was a glowing example to all who knew her as a person full of joy and gratitude for all she had and for every kind gesture she received. Preceded in death by his parents, Chet and Judy Lay and in-laws Fred and Marilyn Knudson.

He even taught himself to tie his shoes with his one good hand. Russ had a soft spot in his heart for his pets, was always up for a good game of cards and loved his Mountain Dew. She is survived by her mother Patricia; her siblings Paul, John , Peter , Bill , Mary Pat Saul , Theresa , Michael , and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Robert, and brother Richard. Martha was born Sept. 4, 1952, to Dr. Robert and Patricia Koenig.
He enjoyed camping, boating, collecting agates with his family, and traveling. Bill had a great sense of humor, a big heart, and could fix anything. He was most proud of his children and grandchildren. Oct. 28, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids for Margaret “Peggy” L. Smolnik, age 76, who passed away Oct. 17, 2022, at the Estates of Greeley in Stillwater.

He leaves behind some very big shoes that we can never fill, but we can sure try. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Rose Gangl; son-in-law, Jay Maehren; grandson, Timothy Maehren; mother-in-law, Josephine Spaeth; father-in-law, Eugene Spaeth; and many more family. Benedith was born July 13, 1951, in St. Cloud to Lyle and Alice Mae Huston. She married Robert Mager May 15, 1971, at Graham United Methodist Church.

The second of nine children, Martha was a beautiful person with many interests and a rich diverse life. She pursued her interests despite the many roadblocks that challenged her. Thanks to her strong will and persistence, she played piano and loved the classics, Beethoven and Mozart.

Survivors include Marion, his wife of 55 years; son, Jeff ; daughter, Julie Gaulke; grandchildren, Chuck, Jake and Jimmy; brother, Ben ; godchildren, Ann Kuklock and Sue Smith; also in-laws and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law and father-in-law. Nov. 23 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Popple Creek for Rosemary C. Mendel, age 93, who passed away Nov. 20, 2022, at her daughter’s home.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; and infant son, Charles. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Peter, Jr., John, and William Kaluza. Steve was born Dec. 30, 1948, in Long Prairie to Peter and Ida Kaluza. He attended District 93 rural school, St. Joseph’s Parochial School and graduated from Browerville High School.

Mary had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time reading, listening to music and dancing. Most of all, Mary loved kids and really liked spending time with them especially her family members. Mass of Christian Burial was July 15 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Mayhew Lake for Mary Lentner, 53 of Foley, who died July 9, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
His mother died when he was a year old, and his father remarried and moved, leaving Arthur and his siblings, Anastasia, Frank, John and Richard behind. Arthur was taken in by a neighbor, where he lived until eighth grade when he headed to Texas by train to work on a ranch. He later returned to Minnesota to care for his brother after he was injured during World War II, and then he left for North Dakota to work on a ranch until the Korean War.
Donna’s fondest memory was sharing every Christmas Eve with her entire family at her home. Being together with those she loved was most important to her. Mass of Christian Burial was July 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids for Anna Mae Tiemann, age 92, who passed away July 4, 2022, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. Visitation was one hour prior to the services Friday at the church.
The couple have lived in central Minnesota for the past 30 years since he retired from the Army. He was a lifetime member of Sauk Rapids VFW Post 6992 and was a DAV volunteer. Doug enjoyed going to the casino, fishing, listening to old time music, reading, watching the Minnesota Vikings, and spending time with family and friends. He was generous, was there for everyone, and loved his family. He loved anything to do with John Deere tractors and machinery. He restored a 1946 John Deere B and a 1955 John Deere 50.
Mohs, age 54, who passed away Sept. 30, 2022, at his home. Once his children were grown, Art married Betty Golembeski Jan. 17, 1998. Her children, Ruth, Vicki, Debra, Nancy and Judy became part of the family. Since getting married, Bob and Doris Ann were having difficulty having children, so tried the adoption route through Catholic Charities. In February 1968, they received a phone call from Catholic Charities about a child who was needing a home and on Feb. 28, 1968; they adopted a son and named him Joseph. Not long after adopting, they found themselves pregnant in late 1969, so on Aug. 4, 1970, they had Mark.
Sharing 66 years with Math, they enjoyed winters in Arizona, spear fishing on Lake Winnibigoshish, flower and vegetable gardening, and coffee and wine time with friends and neighbors. Geri passed away in 1993, after which he met and married the second love of his life, Dorothy Kloster, on March 2, 1996. Tom enjoyed tractors, guns, hunting, playing guitar and, most of all, spending time with his family. Tom will be remembered for his great sense of humor, strong faith, kindness and dedication to his family. Larry was born March 11, 1949, in St. Cloud to Lawrence and Philomenia “Philly” Hennessy.
He was loving, caring and would lend a hand to anyone. He was preceded in death by his parents; and five infant siblings. Donna was born June 2, 1936, in St. Cloud to Leo and Elizabeth Lintgen. Donna worked for Fingerhut for 30 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of Annunciation in Mayhew Lake where she participated in her church community as a Eucharistic minister and in the Christian Women.
